Installation

macOS

1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
2. Drag AttackTrace into the Applications folder
3. On first launch, if you see a system prompt, right-click the app and choose "Open"
4. Click "Open" in the confirmation dialog

!!! warning "macOS security notice" If you see "cannot verify developer", go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway".

Windows

1. Run the downloaded .exe installer
2. If SmartScreen appears, click "More info" → "Run anyway"
3. Follow the installation wizard
4. Launch AttackTrace from the desktop or Start menu

Linux

AppImage (universal)

chmod +x AttackTrace-*.AppImage
./AttackTrace-*.AppImage

Debian / Ubuntu (.deb)

sudo dpkg -i attacktrace_*.deb
attacktrace

First login

After launch, you will see the login page. Enter your account email and password to access the chat interface.

If you don't have an account yet:

• Register through your organization's registration link
• Or contact your admin to have an account created for you

What you need before logging in

• An active AttackTrace account
• At least one available AI model
• If you want to query real data, the relevant tool integrations must be enabled
